We're not going to brainstorm. We're going to build.

Meetings are broken. The loudest voice wins, half the team is on their phone, and after two hours you have a whiteboard full of post-its but no real plan. There's a better way.

With Lego Serious Play, participants build their thoughts, literally. Everyone builds, everyone shares, everyone is heard. The result? Strategies that are supported, teams that understand each other, and decisions everyone stands behind.

What is Lego Serious Play?

Lego Serious Play (LSP) is a scientifically grounded method developed by the Lego Innovation Lab. Participants build 3D models representing their ideas, experiences and vision. It makes abstract concepts tangible and ensures everyone, including the quieter team members, contributes equally.

It works because your hands think what your mouth can't say. By building, you activate parts of your brain that stay dormant in a standard meeting. The results are surprisingly deep and concrete.

1–2 weeks before the workshop

Intake

We discuss your objective, the group, and any sensitivities. Based on this, we design the workshop specifically for your situation.

02
First 45 minutes

Skills Building

Participants learn the language of building. Through short exercises they become familiar with the process. This lowers the barrier and creates a safe atmosphere.

03
2–5 hours

From talking to doing

A strategy session that actually worked

A tech scale-up of 40 people needed to choose a new direction but was internally divided. After two failed off-sites with PowerPoints, they tried LSP:

"For the first time I felt that everyone was truly heard. And we walked out with a plan we all agreed on."

Why Lego Serious Play works

diversity_3

Everyone participates

No dominant voices, no silent observers. Everyone builds, everyone shares. 100% participation, every time.

view_in_ar

Tangible results

No abstract post-its. 3D models you can point to, discuss and photograph. Concrete enough to work with.

shield

Safe environment

Participants talk about their model, not about themselves. That lowers the barrier to be honest, even about difficult topics.

science

Scientifically grounded

Based on constructionism and flow theory. Your hands activate different parts of your brain than talking. The outcomes are demonstrably deeper.

bolt

Fast and effective

In half a day you achieve more than in weeks of meetings. Teams reach insights and decisions that would otherwise take months.

It's just fun

Adults building with Lego. It breaks the ice, lowers stress, and creates an energy you don't get with a PowerPoint.

Frequently asked questions

A half-day workshop starts from €1,750 and a full day from €2,950, excluding VAT. This includes preparation, all Lego materials, facilitation and a summary afterwards. Exact price depends on group size and customization.

Minimum 4 and maximum 30 participants per session. The sweet spot is between 8 and 15 participants. For larger groups we work with multiple facilitators or parallel sessions.

No. The skills building at the start removes all doubt. After 15 minutes everyone is building — even the people who say 'I'm not creative'. It's not about building beautifully, but about giving meaning.

At your office, at an external location, or in our own space. We bring all materials. Only requirement: a room with tables that participants can stand around.

Afterwards you receive a comprehensive summary with photos of all models, the key insights, and a concrete action item per participant. Not a vague feeling, but a workable document.

Especially. Our facilitator has a background in software and understands how tech teams work. We've given workshops for development teams, product teams and tech leadership. The combination of hands-on building and technical understanding makes it extra effective.
